Already want more ^.^
I've had my two Campbell's for a week, and I'm afraid I've been bitten by the bug!
I am itching to go and get a Syrian to bring home as well xD The other half thinks I'm insane - we have a dog, a corn snake, a crested gecko and the two lil dwarf boys at the moment, but I can't help it! Those faces... And how much more room does one bin really take, right...?
Anyone else bitten by the bug and just can't help wanting an absurd amount of fur babies?

Have you looked at most peoples signatures on this forum? There're very few people on this forum who don't have multiple hams and most of us have more than one species too

Always been in awe of your family though Kyrillion. I love to see your signature and read the family list each time.
KittyCat - It started for me when I came home to find that my neighbour, having had an emergency had left her daughter's hybrid in her cage on my floor, to stay for an undetermined time. I then found my own fluff, Bracken and then along came Rue, Aspen and Bindle. Having lost Aspen and Bindle in February, I now have Fey and Marram and I'm on the look out for a pure bred WW, which will take me to 5 fluffs, the most I've had at one time.

I cheat, mine're all shared equally with my OH I can pm you a full list of pets by name, species and any other info you want (colour, age, gender, personality, where we got them, what they live in e.t.c) if you ever really want to know more lol. We may have a lot of pets but they're all definetly individuals with their own distinct personalities
For us it started with Scamp the syrian hamster, she was a fantastic little character and kinda led to every other pet we've owned

I have no doubt about their own personalities, I know how different mine are. I would love to have the capacity to have a whole variety as you have but I can't take anything away from Bracken, Rue, Fey and Marram. I love my fluffs, I can manage them and they give me huge enjoyment. My large garden will just have to be used for the plants/flowers and tomatoes/cucumbers etc because although it could easily take hutches of all shapes and sizes and their runs, I couldn't manage. That's why I love to see yours, I get a smile every time.

I definitely didn't mean to make you feel that you have to do anything, Kyrillion. I am sure you are busy enough already. I just wanted you to know that your family is greatly admired.

Re: Already want more ^.^
You've well & truly been bitten by the bug Kittycat!
like Kyrill (sry I can't spell the whole thing!) we also started with a Syrian, Gizmo the little poser in my profile pic, she's been so fantastic we started adopting others a few months afterwards & now up to 10! We said we'd stop at 8 I'm v lucky to have the resources to be able to keep them, & an OH who loves them to bits, he was converted by Gizmo so I can't claim the credit.
Hams bring so much joy. Bear in mind that Syrians do need more space & their toys, houses, bowls etc are generally bigger. (lots of info on this forum about size requirements or check RSPCA site) Mine also have a quite different diet to the dwarves. Sorry if you know this all already.
Have fun looking for your new family member if you decide to go down that route soon! I'm sure your OH won't be able to resist.
ps. I love Kyrill's signature too & Artisan everytime you call them 'fluffs' it makes me laugh!

Oh I know what you mean, I have to constantly fight the urge to get other hamsters, as I don't have the funds nor the space right now! But it's especially hard when I look at the SPCA page, or at some adoption pages, I should really stop doing that, because all I really want to do is provide a home for all of them, poor things! I am in awe of anyone who have more than 1 little furry friend
