Re: bad feeling about fudge
What makes you think that Candice? Are you seeing signs of old age or ill health that are worrying you or is it just thinking about the fact that they don't live that long?
Two of mine have just passed 1 year old & I must admit I do think about how fast their time passes but I just try to cherish each day with them & not dwell on that if I can help it.
I really hope Fudge will be ok & with you for some time yet.

Re: bad feeling about fudge
He's just starting to look old in the face, if you know what I mean and after losing harry 2 weeks ago I just feel as if its all going to happen again too soon, I do sometimes think that their lives are way to short too xx

Re: bad feeling about fudge
If you only lost Harry two weeks ago you must still be grieving & missing him very much, I expect that's what's making you look at Fudge & think he may be getting old already, just try to enjoy him & not to worry, Piebald's right there!

Re: bad feeling about fudge
Hi Candice - I totally agree with cypher and Piebald. I think it is only natural that having lost Harry, you are anxious about Fudge. We love our little bundle of fluffs so much that we just don't want anything to change, then when one does go to play at the bridge, it affects us in many ways.
As Piebald said, enjoy every moment you spend with Fudge, he brings you much joy and happiness, try not to worry and overshadow the fun times that you share.

Re: bad feeling about fudge
I agree with cypher, piebald & artisans.
When Archie was ill, I thought this is it, he's going to leave me, the antibiotics aren't working! God, I really was so negative - Archie's recovered but, he was on antibiotics for 6 weeks.
But, the people on here kept me going, kept me sane.
Now, he's better, I treasure each day with both my hammies! I know they have a short life span but, it's important not to dwell on it.

Re: bad feeling about fudge
He's doing well thanks!
It's only normal, you're missing Harry, but, remember you gave him a wonderful life and that's all that matters. Fudge will help you with your grief, she will have noticed that he's not around because she'll have heard you talk and play with Harry before but, no more.
