"Book" My new syrian
It’s been over a year since my Syrian Seymour died. I hadn’t been able to face getting another one, but when I was in the garden centre the other day I saw the cutest Syrian ever. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to have him. So here he is. Book the hamster.
Also I wondered if anyone could tell me what colour he is. The closest picture I have seen is the golden dominant spot? Thanks guys.

Re: "Book" My new syrian
Have you ever seen Hocus Pocus? I named him after the witches book as it seems to be like a pet to them. He came out at the garden centre when i said "Wake up my darling, my little book, wake up sleepy head" which is a line out of Hocus Pocus. I did get afew wierd looks though! :P

Re: "Book" My new syrian
He was the nicest one i've seen around and I'd been looking for about a year. there was also a lovely white one at pets @ home but it had an eye infection. Not suprised by that! Don't even know why I looked. The litter looked sable banded, they where all dark colours, Book was the odd one out. But if you part his fur he has very grey roots!
I love the name mavis, I always name my pets after things. Gives you a story to tell aswell!

Re: "Book" My new syrian
I'm not good at colors, so I won't attempt that Regardless, I think he is adorable, and I like his pattern! Book is a cute name too. I thought it was a little "unique" at first, but the story behind the name makes it super cute!
