Re: This is probably quite weird but...
Oh my, I really thought I was the only one that sniffed my hamsters, LOL
I feel really less weird now, thankfully :P I love putting my nose in their fur when I hold them <3 The girls don't mind it either, and I dare say that Biscuit enjoys it. I like the way my dog smells too (Just not when she has been outside, ick!) But the hammies smell so woody and earthy, it's great <3 And their fur is so soft

Soo either you're not weird or we're all weird lol.
I wonder how we smell to our pets. . .

I always wanted to teach a parrot to say "I saw what you did". Tried it with the pet store bird . . .

I've never 'taught' mine anything, he just picks words up and then makes up his own sentences Hubby and I quite often stand shocked looking at each other and saying where the hell did he get that from

Yes and Yes. I cannot resist saying hello and having a little smell when I get home to them.
Polly smells of digestive biscuits and Teddy of shortbread biscuits!!

One of the girls who I worked with in the zoo, adopted one of the hyacinth macaws. He was pretty amazing and would could mimic and imate voices to perfection. His really trick was to whistle at her dog to get it's attention and then tell it ''walkies, walkies, time for walkies'' in perfect mimic of her voice. The poor dog got so confused.....

That's hilarious Hetty! The poor dog!
I would like it if they could use the phone and tell those cold callers where to get off!
