Lol thanks, he is gorgeous but his name is Jas Triton is the species of Cockatoo that he is It's like a Sulpher crested cockatoo but much bigger and pretty rare too, Tritons are an endangered species in the wild.

Re: This is probably quite weird but...
I also love smelling my hammies, especially the fur on their back and on top of their head. I LOVE THEIR SMELL! They smell like a baby, but it is quiet woody smell as well.
Someone once said that their female ham (when in heat) smells like geranium. I agree. My Hetty Syrian, smells that way too.
P.S Your parrot is beautiful!

Re: This is probably quite weird but...
This might take the weirdness a step further, but since I only have a yet-to-be-tamed dwarf, I stick to sniffing my hands after handling her. Their scent is a little different from the Syrians, but I do love the way Syrians smell too xD
My mom always say they stink, and I always object (even their cages barely smell at all in my experience. Maybe there's just something wrong with my sense of smell...). We frequently have little no, they don't - yes, they do's until we both just stare at each other like O.o

Re: This is probably quite weird but...
I think it's amazing, that as a big old predator animal, we are all smelling our little furry friends in totally different ways! Each one is individual. I too love the way a-lot of animals smell! Daisy smells like warmth (?) and fresh tumble dried clothes, you know, that ''warm'' smell. She's pretty disgusting when she's in heat...bleck. Basil, I swear, of warm hair (but he was very very hairy) like after some-one blow dries their hair? Lola smelt like saw-dust and kittens!!!
When I worked in the wildlife park, we all loved the smell of the ring-tailed lemurs and the ruffed lemurs: just behind their woolly manes, they smelt like talc and kittens!

He's beautiful!
I have a phobia of crows, pigeons and seagulls!
But, I like parrots, because they talk.
