When it comes to Lunar he's gotten used to sitting still in my hand for his photo shoots, as I've been taking pictures of his changing fur coat. Cindy on the other hand I just have to repeatedly hit the button as she runs around, in order to get any sort of a good shot of her.

I might actually try getting someone else to take pics while I hold them, I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of that!

I haven't yet read the links that Leedsgurl has posted but just a quick idea as you are using a phone rather than a camera that generally has lots of presets these days. If you are able, put your camera onto continuous shooting, or sometimes it's just a matter of keeping your finger on the shutter. You'll get plenty of pictures many of which won't be any good but often, the continuous shoot will capture a great shot in amongst all the others. I have to use that for Bracken as she really doesn't stay still, Rue will pose mostly so is much easier.

Hope that helps. I'll read those links now.

Thank you! I had a little play with my phone and it takes 'bursts' which is really helpful!

I've just seen the hanging basket picture of Ethel. I love it!

Some good tips on here already. And I've bookmarked those links from Leedsgurl. For me,
it depends which camera I use. If it's the "good one" it has a fast shutter speed which is most important, particularly with my robo. Lots of cameras have a "sport" setting which will set a quick shutter for you. If it's my phone I have with me then I usually go for photos of them eating/drinking etc, basically when they're sat still but the biggest thing is that you should see the amount of blurry photos on my sd card just to get one I think is okay & I doubt I'm alone. I take a lot to get one with Hector even in the frame
