Smile Ferplast Laura and bin cage

I got the Ferplast Laura cage as a gift and got my new hamster, Daphne the following day.

I've realised having read lots of pages on here as well as just watching her, the cage isn't big enough. She hadn't gone near the wheel once and constantly bar chewed.

I've now connected her cage to a bin cage, after reading lots about them on here. She's spent the last 20 minutes running like mad on her new 28cm wheel! I hope she's as happy as I am!

I have air holes drilled in to the sides and back, I think I will do a few more but I wanted her to have access to the bin cage ASAP as I was worried she would get depressed.

Sorry for the sideways picture!!

I would recommend meshing it for ventilation.
That cage is awesome, but she needs an 80x50 (or more) area to run around in You could easily attach it to your current setup.
