Ollie trying something new
image.jpg
As mentioned on a previous thread Willow loves her Porridge and safe to say it's her favourite treat and a delight to watch. This morning we decided to let Ollie try some for the first time and all I can describe it as - it's as if you were giving me the best Champagne ever for the first time, it was adorable, he also took it out of my hands ever so nicely.
Mum to Willow and Ollie

Re: Ollie trying something new
Meant to mention about the very adorable pic.
Also, surely Tony has been won over by the dazzling Ollie charm?

Re: Ollie trying something new
I've heard of porridge being given to hamsters but have never tried it. You've got me all curious to try it with Spike now . What type of porridge do you use and how do you make it up?

Re: Ollie trying something new
You can try baby porridge either Heinz or cow n gate.
But, I've also given mine Scottish porridge oats cooked in water or milk.

Re: Ollie trying something new
I give my hammies the oatmeal/porridge both wet and dry. They love it either way.
Ollie has the most fantastic ears! Love 'em!

Re: Ollie trying something new
DrK - I had to take another look at Ollie's ears - wow they're superb, slightly bigger! But, it makes him even more cuter.

Re: Ollie trying something new
I adore Ollies ears one of my friends said I should have called him Shrek, well that was RUDE. I think the little fella is definately working his charm on Tony, he hasn't mentioned getting rid of him since last Friday when he got back from working away. The type of Porridge we have is Quakers Oats So Simple, also Tony has just managed to pick the little guy up and had him running up his arm, things are looking up.

Re: Ollie trying something new
Every little paw print running up Tony's arm is printing them on his heart too.
