Marbles Photoshoot! <3

This is Marbles, my 8 month old black dominant male Syrian.
He loves to come out every night, he will wait for me on top of his wooden bendy bridge until I come and scoop him up.
His favorite treats are sunflower seeds and orange flavored yogurt drops.
He enjoys my homemade peanut butter treats too on the odd occasion :P

Oooh he's gorgeous, what a sweety. I'm so jealous of you guys on here who can get such great shots of your hamsters. I have so far only got a back end shot of my hammie disappearing, guess she's camera shy!

Thanks so much! Oh I have hundreds of back end photos lol! I take about 100 photos just to get a handful of good ones! The only way I've found to keep mine still is treats or making strange noises so they meerkat XD

Another thing you can try is when they come out their house for a drink/toilet, scoop them up just before they go back to bed. Your ham will still be sleepy so a little slow and sluggish, you can get some still photos that way but their ears will probably be down.

The noises don't always work, and when they do its like 2 seconds of stillness before they are off again. So I usually have the camera ready and my boyfriend will be making different noises to try and catch their attention. Scratching seems to be the best noise for our hams.

Thanks for the tips Danni Dorrito, its not worked yet but we won't give up, I'm as determined as she is to avoid the camera
