Re: Soda escaped!
How did the tray get under the floorboards? If it's been there a while and it was poison it could well be gone by now. I hope so...

Re: Soda escaped!
I have no clue, the house is rented. If it wasn't I'd have made sure that my mum bought about a million humane traps. I'll put some food at the opening but I think that she's probably dead :'(

Re: Soda escaped!
You don't know that yet, keep hoping. Some hamsters have turned up days or weeks later and only a little skinny for their adventures x

Re: Soda escaped!
Stay positive, I know its hard but don't rule it out so soon. I had a hamster go missing for 2 weeks once and e was fine once I eventually caught him, also made a lovely nest out of the carpet material lol.
Has any of your food been touched? It may be time to store piles of food in other rooms, have you got saucers of water out?
If you are able to sprinkle flour on the floor, say on a hard floor, you can watch for tracks.
At this point in time I would be wanting to make sure the cats have restricted access to rooms for time being.
Sorry I can be of more help but keep your chin up, positive thoughts

Re: Soda escaped!
I really hope Soda shows up. It's awful when they are missing. But so many do come back. Fingers crossed here for you. {hugs}

Re: Soda escaped!
I know it's hard Kittokitty, but keep looking. A couple of years ago I had a heart attack and was away from my home for a month. A friend fed and watered my hams...and that was all! She hates rodents! When I came home I realized Dale, my Black Bear Syrian, was missing. God only knows how long he was gone before I came home, but I didn't find him until I was home a month. I caught him out of the corner of my eye, darting from between my night table and my tall dresser. I quick, quick, shoved a box in the space he came from and snatched him up when he tried to run back in there. I have no idea how he got water all that time or food, but he managed to survive...and he didn't look bad at all. So don't give up yet. {hugs}
