Bird toys !
So I was watching a haul video on youtube and a lady had brought bird toys for her hamsters and there all safe no dyes ect if they have dyed they are pet safe
They are so much cheaper than hAmster chews and nicer too !
I don't know why I didn't look before !

Yep, bird toys can be safe! Not all of them though. Many include "ingredients" for nest building that the birds can shred themselves and the fibres might get wrapped around limbs or stuck in a hammy's throat or pouch.

wooden bird toys can be used for hamsters and some are really nice, also some reptile hides and water bowls look really nice in natural hamster cages

Yeah I did hear they put a powder on the wood and if would only use trixie because they sometimes mix they're bird and hamster toys so it safe for both
Yes I wAsnt sure if you could use reptile things for hamsters , thanks for letting me know !

I've never heard of any powder used on the toys, I meant fibrous things like cotton strings that I've seen added to them for birds to take apart to add bits to their nest.
And yes, some reptile things do make nice additions to a hamster cage! The caves especially

That's good to know! My local petshop and P@H sell a lot of bird toys!
Maybe not so good as I'll end up buying my 2 more toys lol!
