Has anyone used the large wooden wheel from pets at home?

I've got the Karlie wheel off zooplus too. It's super quiet, all you can hear is the pitter patter of hammy feet it's worth getting it from there and getting a few bits at the same time.

I've seen that wooden wheel in with the degus at P@H and it made a hell of a noise.

I haven't used the wodent wheel but the karlie wheels I have are really quiet, they do need a really good couple of coats of plastikote to make them pee proof though!
I have the Trixie too which is kind of like a cheaper version of the wodent wheel & they are good but very noisy!

I have the pets at home wheel and to be honest I wish I hadn't bought it my hammy used to have a comfort wheel which she loved but bit broke so I thought I would get a bigger one since I needed one anyway. She hates it and barely runs in it, I think the bumps on the wheel that are for grip are too big for hamsters and she doesn't feel comfortable on it. Just something to bear in mind

I've ended up buying her a 12" flying saucer wheel for the moment and she's happy with that for now, when I get paid I'll probably buy her a wodent wheel
