Hamsters and hats
A curious question! I keep seeing all these lovely photos of hamsters in cute hats, like on the photo of the month thread, and wonder how you manage to get a hamster to put up with having a hat on! Charlie won't let me even touch his ears! He hates having anything touch his head or ears!

Re: Hamsters and hats
Trust me it took a long time!! (And luck that it didn't fall off before I took the photos!)
She only stays still when she's eating, so I tried my luck!
She didn't seem to even bother with the hat to be honest, she was more concerned about her broccoli! However I'm sure that if she had no food to focus on, it would be a different story...

Re: Hamsters and hats
Yes yours is a lovely photo and hat! It reminded me because I have a similar little knitted hat and no way was Charlie having it on his head lol! My hat even has ear holes in it because it was knitted for squirrel nutkin (soft toy) who is about the same size as Charlie. I just have no idea how you could get a hat on any hamster! She must be beautifully tame! There are other photos around with hats on hammies too and it just makes me want to do it lol!

Re: Hamsters and hats
I wish I could get Archie and Twinkle to wear a hat! lol
Maybe I could try a scarf but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

LOL Hi Serendipity. Thought you might enjoy these pics of my Patches in her hats. I still miss my black and white girl.
