I didn't realise how big Syrians are as I have never had a hamster only ever seen my friends ones when I was like 13 and they'd always be hiding away, so when I bought him I was actually quite surprised.. but also pleased! I was worried about having something tiny!

7 weeks. Gaaah, i want to just squeeze him!
Yeah, I have had Hammy for 2 months now. He's also a Syrian and when we picked him up he was so small i was scared i was going to hurt him if i picked him up. Needless to say now he has quite a podge and hes grown to be a big boy.

Hard to forget a deep Syrian bite, since its razor sharp, bleeds and goes deep. Feels like it hit bone. It's a vivid memory! Also, its a normal reaction when someone suddenly flinches, to flinch as well, so theres the OMG I you scared me scaring you scaring me .....contagious flinch, ROFL.....one time in seven months, and an accident at that? Impressive beasts for something so tiny. I've had dog bites less memorable...LOL.

Haha yes! Luckily he was in his house so I don't think he was that upset about the ordeal due to feeling safe in his home, but I did flinch quite badly which did like you said, dominoes! Bit it was horrid! It's something I will remember for a long time, where it went so deep it's still hurting when I lift things as its still healing! Very impressive for such a little thing indeed!!!

So do I ! Can't wait till he lets me hold him! This morning he put a tiny footsie on my hand so that's exciting he is a step closer to being handled!!
I am constantly worried about hurting him because he is tiny! He is growing pretty quickly though!

He sure is and don't he know it! I'm sure he plays on his cuteness now! He knows if he looks extra adorable he gets some cucumber haha!
I get it in the next few days, I know someone in Game who can get me it a bit earlier than everyone else but they haven't had it come in to stock yet! I think official release for them here is Friday? Going to have a pixel Pika and a real life one too! Yaaayy!

Thank you! I am getting it too, I haven't owned a Pokemon game since Pearl as I've been so busy with other games, but as soon as I say Ruby and Sapphire I couldn't resist! I should be getting it today or tomorrow, a day or so early than release, thanks to knowing someone who works in Game! Wahooo!
