Default Do you buy your hamsters christmas presents?

If so, do you wrap them?

Personally, i do. I have brought him afew things already and wrapped them so he can have a little chew on the paper and open them! Is that sad? hahaa

We've always done it with our animals. The dogs love it. We had an african grey parrot baby who said his first words over a Christmas present. ( he told us to go away )

We have three stockings for the hams - I've informed my SO he's in charge of one of them.

I saw the advent calendars on Viovet, and thought of getting one, but the shipping would have been crazy.

My hammies have 2 big stockings between them. They don't get individually wrapped presents anymore after the year it took longer to unwrap all the rodents' presents than the human ones! Last year I made everyone Christmas crackers using sections of cardboard tube and plain white paper which were safe for the hammies to 'unwrap' in their own cages, and they usually share a 50 tub of Antos toothbrush chews. My parents insist they have Christmas lunch leftovers too

Mine all get something. This year I am planning on giving them all a box of tissues (sounds sad but they normally only get the last couple in a box and they enjoy it) for each cage and some joint things to share (eg playpen toys and treats).

Yes All of my hamsters (and pets in general) yet presents at Christmas, and we do wrap them up too. We get each of the hamsters out in turn once they wake up, open the present in front of them and then let them test out the presents. It's honestly so much more fun than it sounds. x

They are fine to have some Turkey, best to give them some meat away from the edge, less likely to be seasoned with anything, or save them a bit before you season the turkey and cook separately.

You can get them in quite a few pet shops. They are for small animals and tend to have yogurt drops in them so not suitable for all types. We keep the extras in a box as there are loads in there!
