My boyfriend has always liked Penelope because she's a dwarfs she's small and she's a light colour, don't ask why that matters but apparently it does. He has said that Roland seems suspicious with his black fur and his "cape" as he's long haired said he didn't trust him! He cares about him but was nervous for all of the above in my opinion silly reasons so last night I though enough is enough and plopped Roland on my bed with him and now he just loves him think's he's very sweet and cuddly!
Moral of the story: Never judge a hamster by it's colour
Boyfriend got a shock!
Glad he feels better about the little guy!
