Has anyone ever seen their hamster unpouch before? Last night Nelson came out of his cage with 'waterwings' and as he was scampering on the bed he decided to unload and stopped and sort of pushed his pouch from behind and ejected 1/2 a pound of hamster food onto the bed!!!!
We never realised how much they could fit in there and how quickly they could get it out again!

It's quite amazing isn't it - one of my Robos' did it the other day just unpouched on my hand and i swear there was at least the body mass of the Robo in food there

When TJ is making a home made nest, he collects bedding from his nest box takes to the bottom level and unloads in a corner. He looks so funny with full cheek pouches. I've also seen him trying to get into his tubes with full chekk puoches it is so funny.
