OMGOSH!! STUNNING, Smudge is! Very unusual color pattern, I must say.. I do like unusual.. .. I'd love for Allie to look that Smudge.. HOW beautiful! I'm full of anticipation, as time will tell, what final coloring, markings will turn out on her. thanks for posting the pics of Smudge, Dr.K. ..
BTW- My daughter now calls Allie, "Ninja" .. for now I'm sticking to Allie, but .. I can foresee, "Ninja" maybe being her perm, name.

Re: Baby Allie
Day, 2.
Allie aka "Ninja" has been sleeping, non stop. She did get up for a short run in her wheel, eat and drink. then back under substrate to sleep. I was able to put a ruler up to the cage, as she was drinking, and she's at 1.5 inches 3.81cm. I have not weighed her, yet. It's best just to leave her be, for as long as she needs to settle. Then will start taming. I did notice, she does not run and hide, when I put my hand in her cage, while changing her water, and replenishing her food dish. (good sign) and she takes bits of food from my fingers, also good sign.

Re: Baby Allie
LOL, she sounds adorable Teddy. It looks like she's going to tame quickly. You saw Kiki's thread about Smudge? Isn't that some story? I would love to find a hammy that looks like that.

Re: Baby Allie
It's fascinating to see how much their colour changes as they mature, my T'ycor was almost completely black when I got him but when he was getting on a bit he looked like this.
