wodent wheel
hi, I have just bought a ww and I was wondering of anyone had any ways of attatching it to a savic rody. Cage as I struggle to fit it in with the huge stand! Thanks.

Re: wodent wheel
Hmmm well there is no way that I have found, but it does stand in quite neatly, as I have many Rodys with wodent wheels. I tend to put it straight on the floor and then put the cage litter around it.

Re: wodent wheel
It stands well in a Gabber Rex yes, although if you have a very enthusiastic runner it can move around, in a rody or a gabber, but in a gabber you can use a clothes peg to attach the wheel stand to the shelf.
Another thing I've done with mine is to use cable ties to attach the stand to the wire roof of the gabber, hanging it 'upside down' and this works quite well although you have to make sure that you do it on the side that doesnt get in the way if you want to slide the lid over to open it a way..
Hope that makes sense

I just read that and thought by WW you meant Winter White not Wodent Wheel!

Re: wodent wheel
If you're attempting to fit the Wodent into the Rody, I'd recommend laying the steel base flat on the floor of the cage, and then use the substrate - shavings, megazorb, whatever it is you use - to cover that. It should fit. Just!
The Gabber has a higher roof, which makes it ideal for fitting the Wodent - whether buried in the substrate, or standing on it. I'll second Spud's note that enthusiastic runners will disturb the standing of the Wodent, but it can be clipped into the Gabber, as needs be, or suspended from the roof bars.
