Post my hamster is lazy and drinking alot of water

hi everyone and want to just say that my hamster is drinking alot of water and peeing her self. why

Are you sure she's actually drinking the water? When you say "peeing herself", is she wetting her nest or are you finding she has a wet bottom?

I'm not 100% sure but I'm sure those could be signs of diabetes. Another more knowledgable member of the forum could confirm or correct me on this though and maybe give some advice on how to deal with it.

Hello Baby Grrr, First, what kind of hamster do you have. For a dwarf hammie, diabetes might be an issue. For a Syrian it could be something else. If your hammie is literally wet and is a Syrian, you could be looking at wet tail which would mean you need to see a vet pronto. So, what kind of hamster is it, how old is it and how long have you had it?
Also. are you sure the bottle isn't leaking?

How old is your Syrian and have you had it a long time?

her hair is madded and shes wet on stomach
