Naughty Phoebe!

I'm staying on my own tonight at my boyfriend's parents house, everyone else is away. I hamster-proofed the living room and let Phoebe run free whilst I was eating my dinner and watching TV etc...



First she stole some of my dinner when I put my plate down! It was pasta with cheese & spinach sauce....me being soft I then gave her her own little bit of it (just a few pieces....not exactly ideal diet!). She wolfed it down.



And later, I caught her nibbling at the wooden fireplace surround!!! It's a gorgeous fireplace and she made a few tiny holes.....only really tiny though, I hope noone will notice!



She's really kept me company, the little tinker!

Don't want the mother-in-law to be to find any next time she hoovers under the sofa

Ha, hadn't thought of that! Although I'm giving the place a thorough clean before I leave tomorrow (as a thankyou for them letting me stay), must make sure to do that room extra-thoroughly!



It's nice having the hamsters around when I'm on my own. I'm going up to the lakes for a few days with my own parents the week after next - thinking of taking Phoebe up with me. My housemates & boyfriend have already said they'd look after them but I might take Phoebs just for company.

Oh have a fantastic time I was there with my parents not long ago. It is lovely in Autumn when the leaves start to tunr you may just catch it.

Hehe.. gotta love silly hamster antics I wish I could let mine run around like that, but I have two cats and a lovebird, not to mention a open cat door it could escape out of lol.



My first hamster I had was named Teddy, she was a Syrian hamster and I used to hamster proof my bedroom when I was in the basement living with my family. Those were back in the old days of elementary school, I should scan in a picture if her one time lol I think I have just one of her.

I wish I could do that, but I doubt I could hamster proof any room here, I would need to do something about all the wires



sometimes animals have an amazing ability that makes us part with our food. mine seems to win out when I eat baby carrot
