The Hamster Society Show Edinburgh 24th September 2005
Right guys no excuses I want you all to keep Saturday 24th September 2005 free and beg your parents (where applicable) to bring you and your furballs to Edinburgh for The Hamster Society Show :P
I appreciate this may be a bit of a trek but I am hoping to meet a few of you (some again) there. If you want to bring other pets then the more the merrier as there will be a pets class and it is nice to show people the range of pets available out there. Kick off will be around 10am but you are free to wander in and out if not showing, and even if you are you can drop the furries off and go for a spot of culture or shopping in Edinburgh or a walk along the beach and then come back for the prize giving. You will see lots of species and colours of hamsters up close and speak to some real hamster enthusiasts and experts. There will be some hamsters for sale and some activities for the kiddies too. If anyone wants to help out in anyway please shout. So excited I hope you can make it
until I get a job and some more money coming in that's a too expensive trek from Manchester. wish I could be there, sounds like fun, then again I have been told my hamsters are not show hamsters
I can't believe it, I have been looking forward to a show in Scotland for ages, but I won't even be in the country on that date! I'm off to Ireland on the 23rd to the 26th for my boyfriend's brother's 18th birthday - flights are already booked.
I hope you are not going to post the hams to babyboos PJ!!!!!!! We'd love to go but even though it's our home town it's too far to travel. Nooboo there are two Northern Hamster club shows on in your area. Rotherham on 11th September and Wombwell on 16th October and there is a pet class for your hamsters if you like. From your pics one of your hams looks like a banded sable which could be eligible for the patterned class. PM me if you want details

Oh PJ cannot wait so see my new babies... I wonder if I have time to enter them, not have much turn-around time from getting them from Anne to the show - hours at most! Hope you are coping okay with all that packing Going through it myself just now for my move but only 35 minutes from where I currently live and closer to Edinburgh thankfully for my day job
Typical Debs you wait so long and then can't come - never mind hopefully lots others can make it, demonstrate an interest in Scotland, and then we can get some more. The Northern Hamster Club are also considering Scotland as a venue in future depending on interest so come on guys let's show them we love hamsters
I just can't believe it, I have been really eager to enter Eire, the caramel mink as she is beautiful and perfect and now I can't not to worry, next time around she'll be even more beautiful and will hopefully win something
I will definitely be there. I live in central Edinburgh and can offer a sofa bed to anyone who is coming from further afield and needs a place to stay.
