I was just wondering, what is the best way to travel with the hams? Once a week I go to my dad's and I like to take one of my furry friends with me. Usually I put Hamilton in his ball and hold it on my lap to avoid too much jostling. It's only about a ten minute drive, but whenever I have kept him in his cage during the trip he seems to be shaken around too much and much more stressed out. So, does anyone know which way is best?
A carrier with plenty of there bedding in that smells of them so less stressful and a piece of veg like a slice of cucumber for moisture especially if its a hot day. This is what i do on trips to the vets or I'm collecting a new fur baby
I use a small carrier with a lot bedding if I have to travel with my little hammie. For a 10 min drive, the ball should work just fine But as Kirsty said, use some bedding for a less stressful travel.
