Post I just want to say...

I just want to say how much I love this site!!! I only joined a couple of days ago, and to be perfectly honest I had no idea that it existed. I am the very proud owner of Wolverine, who is a sable coloured Syrian. He's 10 months old. I love him to pieces! I decided to get him when I moved to my live in job with the YHA. I've always had pets and living on my own without a pet seemed stupid. So when I was at P@H Carlisle, I saw him snuggled up to a couple of other nest buddies and fell in love at first sight! He is so lively and loving, I had him tame within two weeks. I can pick him up and sit him on my shoulder and he'll just stay there. He loves my hair for some reason too! My older sister also has a Syrian who'll be about 2 now, he's called Lemony Snicket.

Wolverine lives in the Rotastak Adventure Zone. Before that he had a ferplast duna thing which was useless. But I'm starting to regret buying him the RAZ because the wheel is too small, and I can't fit much in the cage. Fair enough it has all of the tubes and what not.

So.... I think in a couple of months when I can afford it, I'll treat him to a brand new cage, one that will be much better and I can fit things in.

Being on this website and reading most of the posts has really really helped and inspired me! It's brilliant! You guys are so helpful and I just want to say thank you!

I'm going to use this as Wolverine's post page thing.

So if you want to keep tracks on him then please do so.

I'm also considering getting another Syrian or maybe some dwarf hammies in the near future

Yep, definitely getting him a new cage in April when I get paid properly. I want to get him the Hamster Heaven Metro by Savic! Expensive but people say it's extremely worth every penny

Sounds good I'd recommend the Alaska which is cheaper or the Alexander which is bigger but a similar price

Wolverine is so gorgeous, I love sables too

I got my Hamster Heaven 2nd hand off eBay for about 30, they often pop up so it's worth looking out for them.

Glad you're finding HC useful, I find it excellent for advice & info and my hamsters definitely have benefited from all the knowledge on here

Good idea, not thought about looking on ebay for second hand ones! Would you definitely recommend one?

Wolverine is a little cutie

The Hamster heaven is really expensive, you can sometimes get them on ebay but not often.

There is the Alaska on zooplus.co.uk and that's only 35 with 10% off your order if you've not shopped with them before, and free delivery over 19.
They have great toys on there and decent wheels too, all really good prices.
There is also the Barney on zooplus, that's 60 right now but does often go down in price.
Zooplus change their prices on cages ALL the time!

There is also the Mamble cage on littlepetwarehouse at just 35 as well.
