What kind of hamster is this?
I saw one at my local pet store and fell in love, but I had no idea what kind of hamster it was!
The petstore worker only knew that it was a dwarf...
is it robo, winter white, campbell?? :s
I wasn't sure what section to put it in.

Is it possible to get closer pictures of it? It hard for me to tell from this, it looks like a white robo to me, but perhaps its a very young WW? Whatever it is, it looks albino to me.

I think its some kind of mottled or platinum campbell...possibly beige as the head looks a little orangey/brown but the rest looks white. Def a campbell though.
Red eyes rule the other two species out.

It looks very bullet shaped to me, like a robo but maybe its just the angle of that picture, or that it is a very young campbells. I havnt seen any young campbells before.

It is very tiny and I don't think they should be holding it away from mum like that Rellin. The pet store cannot be very reliable if they do not even know the type of the parents. It is likely a Campbells or a hybrid. Poor little mite. Did you buy it Rellin? It looks too young to be for sale.

That's a picture I found online, but it looks almost identical.
The petstore was selling them, and they looked exactly like that, except they were beige.
They were adorable, and were fully functioning and walking properly which made me think that they weren't extremely young. The one was running on the wheel, and my friend and I were going crazy for it.
I almost bought it.

Baby hamsters are "fully functioning" at a very early age - they walk properly even before their eyes open at around 2 weeks of age. It does look far to young to be away from it's mum and littermates, poor little thing.

I wonder if the mom was in the cage with the rest of them? or if someone just brought in a litter to young and the pet store took em to sell?

Mine were a bit wobbly even a few days after they opened their eyes.
I just meant it was really stable.
