Not sure don't have any kiddies to have ever used them myself, though my guys will definitely be on reusables when I do - what to do it the pinch test
pull a small 1cm by 1cm piece of using thumb and forefinger - was it easy to do? did it take a lot of tugging or even a pair of sharp scissors in the end? place the square in a glass of plain cold tap water and watch what happens... did it float to the bottom and stay there or did it start to seperate and break up? after a few minutes is it still unchanged or has it formed a lot of loose fibres/become mushy? can you tease the fibres apart easily with your fingers or do they form threads? do the threads break easily if formed... try aggitating the water what happens now - any difference or speed up in the disintegration process?
If you try the same thing with a piece of toilet tissue (one ply) you will see the type of comparison you want to be making and getting as similiar a reaction to the water as possible.
I have build hammocks from toilet roll before but they don't last long - either jumped on too mcuh or ripped down and pouched
