Just be careful with things that have added scent ingredients, like herbs, fragrances, etc. Better to have natural absorbent ingredients without large quantities of baking soda, dried flowers, etc. They can cause skin irritation, mite flare ups, etc.

I understand. I'll be picking up Carefresh or Aspen when I get the chance.

I just got a bag in of that Kaytee Granule bedding (unscented) just because I'm weird and like to try out different beddings all the time because I"m curious like that. And it feels and looks like awesome play burrowing material for the Robos. I plan to give it a try when I do cage clean again. I might use it for my dwarf too but since I finally got my hands on Pink Carefresh I don't think I'll be able to wait to use that for Strawberry.

Anyway - just the look of the granule bedding - I'm excited to see what the Robos think of it. I'll be curious also to see how it does with odor control. Keep ups updated Lokiwolf. I'm curious as to how it works out for you too.

Kaytee Granules is hard to clean up, or at least it's hard to clean out of a tank as I tried it months ago with my girls.

I thought just came to me. If the bedding change doesn't help, what about investing in an air purifier? I saw that Erin just got one and I know piggiepigpigs on YouTube uses one. Do you think this would help with the smell?
