hey every one, a while back i posted about Ables having a greasy balding patch going on behind his head on his neck. and how he was also filling under weight.
i had recently added some different litter in with Ables before i noticed anything going on with him, i then ended up getting some pet mice and using the same litter that i had added to Ables cage. while i was trying to tame the mice i noticed that i started to have a asthma attack (i am very sensitive to many things XD ) i realized if i was having trouble because of the litter then they would be as well, so what i did was changed out everyone's litter and replaced it with shredded paper. (i dont have any asthma problems now so it had to have been the litter.)
anyways i also took the fleece cover i had on Ables hide, thinking maybe he was sweating and getting greesy and then over grooming himself to try and get clean. i also got some really good food for him and i have been taking him out more so he isn't so bored. anyways the good news is that fur is growing back in the bald spot, and he doesn't seem to feel so boney. i don't know if this is because i changed litters, changed his food to a better one, took out the fleece, or the fact i am taking him out more. or all of the above but either way i am so glad he is looking better YAY! ^.^ just thought i would let you all know he is doing better. and OH i thought i would leave you with a super cute picture of him ^_~
