Ok, just spoke to the guy and he actually sounded alright He seemed to me like a dad who bought her for the kids and now the kids dont want her anymore and he does not know anything about hamsters. I suspect a little cage though from the description She does not seem to have any allergies and he also said she is ok to handle and alright with the kids but does have her moments when she bites. If it's small kids then I can picture that. Aww, I am well excited though , I don't know what she looks like or her personality so that will be very adventurous.

And at least he was referring to her as "she" and not "it" as he did in teh first reply from the ad.

OOOh, cannie wait

No names yet, I will see what she looks like, it is very strange not knowing any colouring etc. Tomorrow at this time I will know more, I am a bit nervous but in a good sense, hope I can sleep well and drive properly

I ve got her!!!!And she s adorable! Can't wait to take pictures of her but will leave her to ajust a bit

The family was fairly nice and it was just a case of that the kid got her for his birthday but wasnt interested. sadly she was in a tiny cage with hardly any sawdust and hardly any entertainment so I cannot wait for her to get into Woodys old cage with three floors

The most annoying thing was, that family had a lizard, which was out when we were there and for the lizard they had this gigantic cage with lots of entertainment and cool vegetables and nature-based toys etc. So for the lizard they did all their research and give him a castle and for hamster lady it's ok to be a working class servant, grrrr. People are strange.

Well, I decided to call her Eleanor Rigby as when I looked at teh cage and her inside I had the song in my head with the lines " no one was there, nobody cares" so she has to go with that, I think it suits her. She was very friendly and was out and about looking at us all teh drive home and when I put soem treats in the cage for her she climbed out on my hadn and was fine with it

Aww, adorable little lady. She does not seem very old either, when I think about Woody, who was 8 .5 montsh when he dies she definitely has a younger look to her, her eyes are still so clear and a bit like a baby. She must be at least 4 months though as the seller had her for 2.5 months now from pets at home and I don't think they sell them before they are 8 weeks?

As she is so friendly and up to everything I will get her Woodys cage tonight, I think she will enjoy it

LOVE the name! Anything Beatles I love anyway! My hamster Strawberry - my son named him Strawberry but I gave her "Fields Forever" as his middle. I wanted to name Bob Sgt. Pepper but alas ...my son named him too.

So glad she has a happy loving and enriched home!!!! Can't wait for photos of her!
