Question jay cloth bedding?

hello everyone, i just want a little advice, i am currently staying at my boyfriends at the moment and have brought little tidy with me, when it came to tidying him out yesterday i saw he needed some new bedding in his coconut house, i usually use a mixture of ripped kitchen towel and the tissue paper bedding from p@h, but i forgot to bring his bedding with me, and i didn't think i could use the loo roll that is here as it is not white. so i went to Jollies the large pet superstore in town to look for some bedding, and all they had to choose from was either the cotton wooly stuff(which i have heard isn't very safe for little paws,) and a mixture of ripped jay cloths and tissue paper, which i thought was a better option, so i got a bag of this, and made a nice nest in his coconut for him, and went a got some white loo paper and ripped it up and out in a pile nest to his house so he had a choice of what he wanted to use.
when i woke up this morning i went to check on him as i always do and he has actually moved his toilet paper into his house and added that to his nest aswell and seems very snuggly and comfy in there.
so basically after me rambling on and on lol i just wondered if it is safe to carry on using this for his bedding as he seems to like it, or have any of you had bad experiences with it?
thanks and again sorry for rambling lol!

It's safe
Mine love it too - they get it when it's cooler otherwise they end up boiling in their beds in summer >.<

Jay clothes are just made out of paper fiber even if eaten it breaks down as paper does.

I used J cloth bedding for 19 years with no problems. In fact, it is still sold in the same bags I used to buy. Now I just use white loo roll because it is cheaper for 4 hammies

I think the p@h stuff is rubbish (if you mean the little squares of paper stuff). Plus you get more for your money.
It holds it's shape better if you mix it with the Wilkos paper stuff which is long strands, or ripped loo roll.
