How long can you have hamster babies before they fight?

Okay, im terrible at selling hamsters! I never can decide which ones to keep and hardly know for sure which ones are definently getting a hamster. How long can you keep hamsters together before they fight? Boys with boys and girls with girls? They are 10 weeks old now and Im about to sell some within the next week. I know thats a lot but some people say they are going to get them and dont email back. So is that too much?
There Syrians. If I HAVE to, and cant sell them before its too late, I could probably find a way to keep them separate. They havent really fought yet (besides play fights)

I was in a pet shop the other day that had a cageful of Syrian babies, the girl in the shop said they were 7 weeks old. They were already beginning to squabble.

they're supposed to start getting territorial by 8 weeks, I think. but I have seen 8-10 week old Syrians in pet shops that only at most playfight...?

Your suppose to split them at around 8 weeks but some groups do last longer, you just need to watch for squabbles, but I'd say to only really leave it a week or two at most.

A week or two more?

They are doing good together still. If they draw any blood or really fight I will seperate them.

But if I could keep them together for a week or two MORE that would be perfect.

As long as you are paying close attention to any fights happening then i'm sure it'll be fine for a short amount of time until you can get something permanent. I really hope that you can get them some good homes soon

Well, you've had a lot of time to get stuff prepared, 10 weeks now. Is it money for caging or space you don't have?
How many babies were there?
But they should be fine for a little longer, so long as you separate the territorial ones earlier. I doubt they'll all stay together for a fortnight more though :l
