Re: questions about sunfires
Pet shops never fail to amaze me with their stupid names for hamsters.
Whats wrong with calling them by their proper name?

Re: questions about sunfires
i know but sadly my friend is a impulse buyer and has some issues when it comes to animal care, so i try and help them how i can. one of the things they are trying to do is have a gerbil live together with the hamster, both are fully grown as well... sadly because they don't listen to me, they actually already had the gerbil live together with 2 rats and a mouse when they were all young. i have no idea how they didn't kill each other, especially when all of them hit adult hood and the female rat had babies. its insane and i'm trying to teach this friend of mine the proper care of things they have gotten much better with the care of their dogs and cats but for smaller creatures they still don't listen to much. it is very hard some times especially when they were raised thinking that you can get rid of animals when you get bored with them and buy new ones. besides the animal care problem i have been good friends with this person for 17 years. ever since i was 8 years old, and the only bad thing with this friend is their outlook on animals. but i am slowly making a difference in the way they treat their animals so i hope to one day help them to see the proper care for all animals big or small.

I am sorry if this offends but is your friend an idiot? Gosh, even if they only know basic care, surely everyone knows not to house different species together!
It is really good you are trying to help her. Hopefully they will listen to you!
