Default Looking for a hamster

Hello everyone, this is my first post here *waves*

I used to own hamsters when I was growing up, but haven't had any since I moved out. I would love to give a home to a little hammie again now, but I would much rather adopt or rescue a hamster than buy one from a pet shop.

Does anybody know where I should start looking? I live in Durham. Thank you!

I also live in Durham *waves* I know you said you didn't want a pet shop ham but the only place I know if that does adoption is the Pets At Home adoption centre in the P@H up by the massive Sainsbury's. That's where I got my fuzzbum Darla

Another wave from Durham! My son got one of his Syrians Bruno from Great Ayton RSPCA. Or you could always look on Gumtree or Preloved, there are always hammies wanting homes on there.

Hello! Thank you both for your advice I have been in touch with a few rescues and doing a lot of searching and I *think* I may have found a hamster I can adopt from a rescue not too far from me.

Not going to say much else at the moment in case it comes to nothing, but fingers crossed!
