Re: Jesus Hamster
Four year old hamster... digging two foot back to the surface...seems a bit unlikely, but hey

Re: Jesus Hamster
LOL that is quite funny! Shame they didn't know 'Jesus' was hibernating, but to be 4 years old 'Jesus' must be in quite good condition! (Especially to dig 2 feet up the ground!)x

Re: Jesus Hamster
I believe he would have been hibernating, which often gives the affect that they are lifeless.
Maybe i'm just sceptical but 4 years old? Its a lovely story though, I hope its more accurate than it seems x

Re: Jesus Hamster
Hehe that's quite a story, the heat of the soil was probably what brought him out of hibernation. So lucky the poor thing didn't suffocate! He does look a little too perky to be 4 years old though.

Re: Jesus Hamster

Re: Jesus Hamster
Sorry but... It's the Sun and the story doesn't seem to be quite true. Fours years old? Digs 2 foot out of the ground?
Don't believe it *shrug*

No rigour mortis also happens when hams hibernate, when I rescued Fat Face he was in the first stages of hibernation and was cold and stiff to the touch.
