Default Picky Eaters?

Peanut leaves every single pellet in her bowl and Buttercup leaves most seeds.
(she digs in her bowl for everything but seeds!)
Picky eaters! Lol! How do I make them eat these foods?

They have a mix with seeds, pellets, sunflower seeds, corn and some other stuff.
(I think its just called Hamster/gerbil mix)
Okay then I guess Ill just have to not give each of them those foods XD (It stinks especially cause they are both of the main things!)

Maybe you could try slowly introducing a new food, mix it with their old stuff..

It sounds like they just don't like their current food Some owners have to go through all sorts of different brands before they find something they actually like, and many still leave things like alfalfa pellets

I would try and change them over to something different though, any food that is made for more than one animal species is not going to be any good as it will not meet their specific nutritional needs. Also seeds are very fatty so any mix that has these as one of their main ingredients is going to be quite unhealthy.

I believe you live in the US don't you? If so see if you can find Hazel Hamster food, that is the equivalent of our Harry Hamster food and is absolutely fab! Wean them onto it slowly by mixing the two foods together and slowly increasing the amount of new mix and decreasing the old stuff until they are just eating Hazel Hamster, that should avoid any nasty tummy upsets

You may have to try a few different foods but you are bound to find something they love eventually

Some people have issues feeding Harry/Hazel hamster to dwarfs because of the large size of the pellets, just thought I'd mention You might want to try breaking up the larger pieces for Peanut if you buy it.

Yeah ours hated P@H food.

We switched to Harry Hamster and now break up most of it for our elderly robo but everyone else manages fine with it all. They all eat all of it too

No ham I've ever had has liked macaroni wheels. It's in the treat mix I get. And each one always leaves "ucky" bits in their dishes
