My first hamsters name was Boo. So I decided that I would go with the trend of Halloween themed names. My current hamster is Pumpkin.

Peanut is a lovely classic hamster name.
Peanutella - My sister called her hammy this its a twist on peanut but probably more feminine where as peanut can be used for both genres. Erins animals has a video on hammy names.

Minerva! After Minerva McGonagall. She has the same kind of colouring as McGonagall's cat animagus. It was inspired by friends of mine, who have recently bought three hamsters (Luna, Neville, and Albus Dumblegnaw).

We have Evie, had Mochi and Mae before.

Mae didn't have a name for a week, I just couldn't decide! I put her on my laptop keyboard and out came m-a-e. So, little Mae.

Mochi was the cat in Big Hero 6

Evelina is a name I love, that my husband really doesn't. So, I gave its diminutive , Evie, to our new little friend. It also means life, which, after Mochi was with us for such a short time, was our wish for this girl.

I think all those names are awesome!!

I got my hamster about 3 days ago and I named him Fili after one of the dwarfs on the movie The Hobbit. It's one of my favorite movies and with my ham being a dwarf ham I though it was fitting. :)
