Fresh Veg + Bin Cage
I remember seeing a few of you give your hamsters fresh veg/fruit every night
How often do you give it?
I have been giving her say, half a grape or something?
Also does anyone know anywhere that sells 110L storage boxes?
Thanks =)

Re: Fresh Veg + Bin Cage
I don't give mine fresh food every night - probably twice a week. Normally they have a small broccoli floret or a small carrot stick, something like that. And Magic is partial to a bit of dried banana.

Re: Fresh Veg + Bin Cage
Yeah we only give it once or twice a week at most, and we make sure sugary things (like apple, grape e.t.c) are a very rare treat and only for those who aren't diabetes prone.

Re: Fresh Veg + Bin Cage
I gave my 2 robos and syrian some baby food last night. It was chicken, rice and apple and they adored it. The robos had literally only half a tea spoon each but they loved it as a nice treat x

Re: Fresh Veg + Bin Cage
I give my RCs fresh food every day - usually 2-3 different sorts. Cucumber, zucchini, brokkoli, salad, sprouted seeds,...
