It's great you helped that lady I lurk in the small animal sections of the local pet stores here and frequently talk to people looking to buy hamsters...but not quite like you did!
Although some of the staff at the pet store near my college has labelled me as "the crazy hamster lady" and a nuisance since I talk a lot of people out of buying adorable little robos for their children under the age of 8
