First proper cuddle!

It has happened!!!

I took Squeak out of her cage earlier...I had my first hammie cuddle! Ok, it didn't last long, but she is coming on great now. Shes a nervous lil ham, but I can't believe it!

Oooh, I missed having cuddles from my hammies in the years I didn't have any. Now I will be holding her for longer and longer every night until she's calmer. By then she'll have her playground. Animal Farmacy as sent me only one fop cage adapter instead of 3 (I have emiled them) so she's going to have to wait for her burrowing cage a bit longer.

But hammie cuddles...awwww you can't beat em! Specially the first!!!

Aww that is lovely! I haven't long had Mumble so I've been working on taming him, these last two weeks have been the best as he's happy to be picked up and be in my hands. He still doesn't stay long enough for cuddles but that is because he's busy exploring and there is lots to do! Tonight he's spent about 40mins running all over me its great

Me too!!! Peaches came for her first cuddle last night as well!!!
Because the cage is so much better for her, she just tried to walk out when I opened the door, she pushed herself onto my hand and we had a lovely cuddle!

She was nervy in the other cage, as it only opened from above. Here's to many more hammy hugs!

Uh, you want pics? Oh, il have to look in to getting a photo bucket account. Squeaks going to have to be recaged due to biting and bar rub. I don't know what to get her, but it will be today. No messing around. If I put cardboard between the bars I won't b able to see her, and she ignores bitter apple spray.

She is cute but I'm cursing her.

You can upload photos without Photobucket, I upload mine as links from my PC

I wouldn't think bitter apple spray would work for hamsters as they like apples anyway!!
