Re: New Criceti 15 arrived today - sooo disappointed!
I just thought I would post an update: During the weeks since my original order, PetPlanet have continued to send me 3 further deliveries (and one collection). They delivered a complete new cage, but that also had a broken base. They made a collection of various parts from me and then there was a two week gap whilst they waited for more stock of bases. They sent me another base, which was also broken in transit. I pleaded with them to pack the bases with more protection for the corners and eventually on Thursday this week, I received another complete cage, which they decided was more durable for shipping than just a base - this time undamaged! Yay! Success at last.
In summary, I now have enough components for two complete cages (albeit that one has a cracked corner to the base) plus another broken base!
In support of PetPlanet, they were at all times totally attentive and a lady by the name of Julie was an absolute star in her determination to help me out. If only their picking/packing hadn't let them down, it would never have happened in the first place, but their Customer Service never failed and indeed it impressed me no end.
Anyone need a spare Criceti 15 and is handy with a tube of glue? LOL!
Now, I just need to wrap up the darn thing again and give it to my hubby (for Skye) as one his Christmas presents.
