Please give more details in your posts Jack. Many people would find these one line chit chat posts very hard to understand. Also please do not reply to every person who posts on your threads. In answer to your question I would not personally have a hammock in a hamster cage because I have seen instances where hamsters have chewed the fabric and thread and made themselves ill. I have also seen a hamster get it's foot caught in the chain holding the hammock and it lost the leg. These are rare occurances but not worth the risk to me.
I prefer simple and cheap toys. Our hams love to scramble through loo roll tubes and boxes with windows and doors cut in them are fun too. Get a hard nut and crack the shell slightly and a hammy will spend ages chewing to get the nut out.
As long as your wheel is big enough your hamster will get plenty excercise. Ensure it is at least 8in diameter for a smaller syrian. Wheels are a hamsters favourite toy and an essential one for fitness.
