Default wheel question...

neither of my Dwarf boys use the wheel that they have in their cage (savic rolly large) - is this wheel too large for them and that's why they don't use it? should I try a different brand/size or do you think that they're just not 'wheely' hamsters? do I still need to put 2 wheels in (or any at all) if neither are going to use it?
thanks!

They probably do use it sometimes. We find the Jumbo rolly rather hand for dwarfs to go and have the regular silent spinner for ours which is easy to move. We tape over the slots in the join where the two colours meet on these as we have heard of dwarfs feet getting caught in these. I think your guys are sapphire winter whites too. I would still give two wheels as the little one will likely go on it when he gets older.

I've had a giant silent spinner for my rats before - it did move very smoothly...
I've just ordered 2 regular silent spinners for the boys - hope they like them!
