Do you dream about hamsters?

I was wondering if anyone else does this, or if I'm extra strange about my hams! They frequently pop up in my dreams, I tend to dream very vividly generally though.



The other day both Mitzi (past syrian) and Alfie were playing together in my dream, and made me breakfast in bed! I recently had a dream in which Alfie died I had to get up and check on him as soon as I woke up after that. I also have recurring dreams about all my hamsters getting out and multiplying all over the flat (not breeding - more like cloning!) and me frantically trying to get them into cages.



So - am I the only freak?

No I hope you are not a freak because that would make me one too Worst dream was when I had a nightmare about a rat crawling over my face and I woke up to a mouthful of hamster leg. Apparently in reality individual dreams only last a few seconds but seem like ages in our memories...



P.S. the hamster was fine just escaped and decided to come wake me up to put her back in her enclosure...

If anyone dreams the most about hamsters or animals it's me!! LOL I’m constantly having dreams where I happen upon hamsters, gerbils, mice, cats, dogs and rabbits... I think it's just my love for them coming through. I love to care for animals, most of the time my dream goes something along the lines of finding an abandoned home or warehouse that suddenly belongs to me, and I go inside I find cages upon cages filled with all kind of animals that were abandoned with the place and now belong to me, and my thoughts are always about getting them into better living conditions and then just owning a ton of free pets ha ha.. if it's not the abandoned house dream, it's usually I dream I found like a yard sale of pets being sold for really cheap, you know like rare tropical birds that normally cost thousands being sold for like 30 bucks kinda thing haha!!

When Butters died though I did have some disturbing dreams about that. I had a bad dream that Sam had to many pups and there were so many they were squirming through the cage bars and all over the floor and I couldn’t stop them.. so you see I dream about hamster/rodents a lot.

I find my hammies popping up in my dreams too! I once had a dream in which all the hamsters I've ever had were in these rabbit hutches all piled on top of one another! I don't know how this happened because I've never had any rabbits!

definitely not alone...I have practically dreamt about my 2 hammies every night for the past 2 weeks I keep dreaming about all the stuff I forgot to do or what needs to be done or that Romeo and Juliette did meet and now we are about to have little hamlets oh that one is a nightmare!

I have dreams about my long lost bear. I miss him so and he talks to me in my dreams to let me know he is alright.

I've had a dream a dream about my hamsters before, they were in the same cage and they weren't trying to kill each other.

I dream about hamster almost every night! I am always running from something and I am taking my hamsters with me. And they TALK to me!!

I always have dreams about animals. I had one dream of owning a dog and a guinea pig and living in a big white house.
