Default What colour is my hamster?



Does anyone know what colour he is? and is he a hybrid?

by no means an expert - especially with dwarfs, but it looks like a chocolate russian dwarf to me

he's black... it's a natural colour mutation in campbell hamsters (according to hamsterlopaedia).

He doesn't look hybrid...

Looks like a black Campbells color.

He is black.

I wouldnt say he is definately a pure campbell. unless you have a pedigree from a breeder you can never be certain.

You can get more ww looking ones with campbell colouring and visa versa.

I'd say if he is hybrid, his dominant breed is campbell, yes.

I dont think there is such a thing a a dominate breed, at they end of the day they are hybrids, a mix of both
