Re: wheel threadness ;)
The Galaxy Cyber wheel is actually quite good! They are a cheap 99p-£5 wheel on ebay but they are fairly quiet, nice looking and very similar to comfort wheels and silent spinners in their design. I dont know exactly how big their sizes go but you can get a 6" dwarf one at least. Just type the name on ebay and you will find them no problems!

Re: wheel threadness ;)
I'm all about the silent spinners!!! I just wish they made a size between the 6.5" and the 12"
I have a couple comfort wheels, they are...ok...they are cheap, but loud, Saffron is in the process of destroying hers, and I have to check it everyday to make sure it doesn't fall off it's stand (yes it's done it before, and comes loose quite often). I also think they are harder to clean than the SS.

He would sometimes overrun and the force would stick him to the top like in that video but he would never fall more than a few inches and into sawdust. On play times he would be allowed into a flying saucer. He ran in it very well he was in a huge playpen along with his brothers and observed at all times. He was running on his saucer, slipped, fell, oversped I'm not sure but he flew off at speed hitting the side of the playpen and broke his leg in at least two places. He had to be put to sleep. That is the first and only time I felt I had been cruel to one of my boys. I felt like I had killed him.
I am sure there are also animals injured by wheels and there is risk in everything. This is not a post to put anyone off but this is the reason for my vote and why I would never use one for any of my boys big or small.

Emily their not there (there is used as in "it is over there")
SS arn't to bad around me, ranges for the 6.5" $8-$12 which I'm happy to pay for wheel my hamsters enjoy so much, they like them better than the comfort wheels.

Re: wheel threadness ;)
Yep! Cheapest place is my local farm/garden/pet shop...and they price them at $7.99+tax (7%) But, they don't always have the best selection of colors so its you get what they have, or they sometimes don't have them at all. It's a bit more expensive going to larger shops like petsmart or petco (like P@H) but then it's about $12+tax. Then again we don't even have wodent wheels, or anything like that. It's typically comfort wheels, those horrible metal mesh ones, or the SS.
