Default Please welcome Grumpy and Stinky :)

I have two more little rescue creatures who two weeks ago moved in with me at my new house. It's an unusual little pairing so prepare for a surprise when you see the pics! (People who also post on Fancy Rats might have already seen them!)

They don't get on with others of their own species, but the lady at the rescue introduced them and a lovely little friendship has been formed. They live together very happily, and choose to eat, sleep and even drink together.

I've kept the same names as they suit them down to the ground. Grumpy is a feisty little female Russian dwarf hamster who pulls the cutest little aggressive faces when she's not in a good mood. She likes me, and lets me stroke her, but hisses and snarls at my OH if he goes near the cage

I already have a female Russian with an attitude problem so I'm used to this sort of thing!

Stinky is indeed a smelly little chap, which goes with the territory He's a sweetheart, still a bit shy but I'm starting to win him round

Ready for the pics?

Yes, that is a little mouse cuddled up with a dwarf hamster It's the cutest thing EVER and they're adorable together

Gosh how strange?!
Are they a young pair? I would just worry in case one suddenly turns on the other at sexual maturity.
I'm not an expert as to whether this is a good idea or not (though of course, normally I would say it wasn't), but they certainly do look happy together at the moment!

Awww they're cuties.

Not sure whether I'd do it personally (I would be terrified of them going against eachother) but wish you lots of luck
