Dinah goes out
It seemed far too nice an evening to be cooped up indoors, so Dinah went out in the garden for the first time.

Re: Dinah goes out
What a lucky little hamster! It's nice you can trust Dinah not to get lost if you take her outside, and the pic of Dinah with your daughter (I assume) is beautiful!

Re: Dinah goes out
There were 3 of us keeping a close eye on her so it was pretty safe.
Thank you! Yes, that's my daughter, Lyra, who will be 6 years old just after midnight (I'm not entirely looking forward to her party tomorrow - 55 small children in one place!! The house is full of party bags and balloons at the moment). This time 6 years ago I was in hospital, having gone into labour 3.5 weeks early! Dinah is really Lyra's pet, an early birthday present. They are so sweet together. Dinah's happy to curl up on her lap. She seems to regard me as a climbing wall.
xx

Re: Dinah goes out
I'm not sure if brave is the word, Roxie, or whether it is a polite euphemism for deranged, which is probably closer to the mark . . .

Thank you, Snickers
And Roxie, if you don't see any posts from me for a while you will know I succumbed to a migraine and went for a loooong lie down

Re: Dinah goes out
Oh that third picture is lovely. Good luck with the party, I'm a few weeks away from supervising a party of about 70 12/13 year olds, I'm not sure which is worse!!

Re: Dinah goes out
55 kids? 70 teenagers?
Why was I never this popular? :P
Beautiful hammy and happy birthday to your little girl!
