The reason I may get kicked out today....

I adopted a new little fella today, the store I purchase hamster supplies at doesn't usually have adoptions, but there was a sign posted saying that they had a dwarf hamster for adoption. I inquired, and they showed me this little boy


Of course I fell in love instantly! I'm not sure what type of dwarf he is, he's pure white over most of his body, with a bit of gray on his face and dorsal stripe. He also has the silkiest fur I have ever felt!

The cage he came with is pitiful. Much too small! But it was his cage from the previous owner and since he's used to it I guess I'll let him stay in it for at least one night while he gets accustomed to his new surroundings.

If any one knows what type of hamster he is I would love to know!

Also, I haven't picked a name yet, but I'm considering Simon. Any suggestions? I also haven't told my OH yet...and he may not be thrilled with me... But I'm thinking I probably wont get kicked out...probably....

Hahahaha I was in the same (almost) situation the other day! All I can say is he is super adorable!

My two roomates met him before my OH and they really like him. Matt is not as excited as me, but he's not really upset either! Yay! No conflict and a new hamster! Best night ever lol
