It can negativly impact the website and it's reputation. It's fine to be outraged and express that but best not to actually mention the name

This happened to me too...I've never had a hamster before and did background research and stuff, but I didn't really know how big the cage had to be...I was advsied to get a cage- a Peggy Metro by Savic, which, to be honest is a pretty bad cage, but then I found out it wasn't actually big enough for 1 syrian hamster, so had to by another small cages as an extension to it.

Same with the fish-my goldfish has a tiny tank that I thought was an ok size, turns out its really bad, but I can't afford a new bigger one so yeah

Where do we stand with the whole naming thing though? It appears we can't name a pet store directly for bad conduct but dosen't the same logic mean we cannot name specific cages? Manufacturers could sling back as much trouble as a pet chain right?

Ive done that before Clare under several different names and from different emails but their replies are always the same "We have never recieved any complaints about our products and we deem that they are perfectly suited to their cause"
Basically they dont care

Well the emails you send ARE complaints so they cant say they haven't received any. I'll send them an email tomorrow...

I've complained before too and I didn't recieve a reply.
