Well, I started my work experience on the 5th and finish on the 16th. At first I wasn't looking forward to it as I was still gutted about my placement at the vets being cancelled but I've had a great time. The kennels has both boarding animals (while owners are on holiday) and adoption animals that they take in from the RSPCA and NAWT. They also have a rabbit in for boarding at the moment! A little 6 week old kitten came in yesterday after being found in a cardboard box, she found a good foster home straight away but I got to have cuddles with her first! She was gorgeous and so tiny. We should be getting a mother and her 4 week old kittens in for adoption before I leave.

A few other favourites who I hope to get pics of are Sky, the blue staffy who's had her ears cropped but is the friendliest little thing. And Alfie who is a giant, fluffy German Shepard but is the soppiest dog you will find. He loves cuddles and running about with his football. I like Robbie too, a tri colour Bordie Collie who will happily chase a ball for hours on end.

I'm so surprised as he's stunning! Little Bertie is such a character too, all the cats are. My favourite adoption adult has to be Byron. He's black and white and is ALWAYS hungry. As soon as someone walks in he will meow and bang on the door until he is fed. Then will hover around so he can lick the tin when I've finished with it.
